About

I was born in Montreal, but moved to the Eastern Townships in 1978, and I’m still here enjoying God’s wonderful nature!

When I was just 18 years old, I had some deep questions that no one around me could answer, such as, Where do I come from? What is the purpose of my being here? Is there really a life after death? I really wondered!

Have you ever thought of this?

I was concerned about the way human beings had polluted this earth which is our only place to live. I also could not believe how much wickedness, injustice and wars had and still have contributed to make people suffer. It concerned me, because we should all be brothers and sisters.

One evening, I went to a church that believes that  “Jesus-Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever” as stated in Hebrews 13:8 in the Bible, just like the disciples of Jesus believed.

While I was there, I felt a call on my heart to serve Him. The following week I was baptized in the Name of Jesus-Christ, I felt a burden lift off my shoulders and the Holy Spirit filled my soul. Such joy and peace filled my heart. Afterward, I simply let the Lord lead me so that I could live to please Him. Day after day, I found the answers to all of my questions as I read the Word of God. At the time, I was 21.

I am not perfect. I react to injustice. I make mistakes and I also falter.
But I do repent and I have a shelter at the cross.

Now, every time I have doubts and worries, I just know that I didn’t and still don’t follow a philosophy but it is a genuine calling from God. I might share some testimonies later on.

We might see Jesus as a little baby born in a manger in utter poverty. But, we forget that He grew up, did many miracles and was destined to accomplish God’s purpose. He died to take our place, and resurrected to show us that there is life after death. He is the only great man who has left an empty tomb behind. That is good news for us; “Buried with him in baptism wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.” (Colossians 2:12)

I am not perfect. I react to injustice. I make mistakes and I also falter. But I do repent and I have a shelter at the cross. I have also learned that I need to filter all of my decisions by the Word and the Holy Spirit. As the years go by, we often fall into a comfortable pattern, sometimes forgetting to entrust ourselves to God with a simple faith. It’s good to get back to what makes us walk in His perfect Will.

I’ve been through all kinds of trials, even before I knew about Jesus. But, during my Christian life, my anchor in the Lord has always held on. He is my refuge. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

I have found a treasure, and I can’t help but share it with you all.

I hope you can also find this precious wealth.
